I believe that America's veterans stand out as a bastion to traditional values of service and self sacrifice. As a nation, we must reciprocate this service by demonstrating our loyalty to our veterans' community. Failure to do so will erode America’s collective consciousness of military service and demeans the sacrifice that our veterans have made on our behalf.

We must do everything that we can to provide our military personnel the resources necessary to carry out their missions as they defend our interests around the world. In return, all Americans must ensure the United States government remains steadfast in its moral, legal and ethical obligation to provide veterans and their families the benefits and services they so surely deserve.
